The malware installed by the fake Bad Piggies would replace original ads on websites such as Yahoo and MSN with ads for products affiliated with the hacker’s own network. However, like most things that seem too good to be true, the app was a fake, and when installed, invaded the user’s computer with malware. With the title “Angry Birds Bad Piggies,” the app seemingly offered users the ability to play the game using their web browser. Though Rovio, the company behind Bad Piggies, has only made the game available on Apple and Android, a version appeared in the Google Web Store.
